The Glendale Police Department received an award of $16,333 from the U.S. Bureau of Justice Assistance for its Expansion of Flock Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Safety Camera Program in 2022. The Department has a contract with Idemia through October 2023. In 2022, the agency collected more than 775,000 vehicle scans using automated license plate readers.
