The Tulare County Sheriff's Office received approval for a $1.5 million, five-year agreement with Axon for body-worn cameras, storage, and accessories in 2017. In 2016, the U.S. Department of Justice awarded $97,432 to the Tulare County Sheriff's Office as part of the Bureau of Justice Assistance's body-worn camera grant program.
