The Acworth Police Department purchased body-worn and in-car cameras for $250,000 from WatchGuard, using funds from the Georgia Municipal Association lease/purchase program. The Acworth Police Department also received a Small, Rural, and Tribal Body-Worn Camera Program grant for $84,000 for 42 body-worn cameras in 2023.
